The front gate of Blackbird Hollow at dusk — come as you are, leave a little slower

The farm store · Blackbird Hollow

A small farm at the end of a gravel lane. This is the part you can carry home.

A note from the caretaker

The gate’s open. Come as you are.

I keep this place — the garden, the glasshouse, the reading barn, and the blackbirds who supervise all of it. The store is the newest room on the property, and it runs by the same rule as the rest: nothing gets a shelf unless it’s made by hand, built to last, or loved enough to mend.

Some of it we make here. The rest comes from makers I’d trust with my own kitchen — beeswax poured in Telluride, tapers dipped in Seattle, towels off looms that still run slow. Every listing tells you who made the thing and why it earned its place.

Take your time. The kettle’s on.

The Hollow

You’re shopping a real place.

The orchard, the glasshouse, the fire circle, the reading barn — it’s all out there past the gate. The essays and field notes live at blackbirdhollow.farm, when you have a slower hour.

Nothing here is stocked because it would merely sell.

Life, deliberately.
