Blackbird Hollow is a journal of deliberate living and the small shop that grew out of it. The journal lives at blackbirdhollow.farm: natural materials, the things a home is quietly made of, and the practices that slow a day down. The shop is the part of the Hollow you can carry home.
Who we are
Blackbird Hollow is an independent, family-run online shop based in Atlanta, Georgia. Ana is the voice and caretaker of the Hollow; she chooses what earns a place on the shelf and writes every field note. There is no showroom and no walk-in store. We sell online only, ship across the United States, and answer our own email.
What we sell, and how it is made
- Our own designs: woven botanical blankets, ceramic mugs, phone and tablet cases, journals, tees and sweatshirts. These are made to order by our print partners in the United States and shipped directly to you, which is why most items take 2 to 7 business days to make before they ship.
- Candles and home goods: hand-poured soy and beeswax candles and a small shelf of kitchen, table and garden goods, chosen from makers we would send a friend to.
- Field notes and printables: digital editions, including A Field Guide to Slow Living and the pantry and apothecary printables, delivered as a download right after checkout.
Every product page names the material and, where it applies, the maker. When something is hand-poured, hand-dipped or hand-thrown, we say so. Nothing is stocked because it would merely sell.
How we do business
- Checkout is secured by Shopify. We accept major cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal.
- Shipping times and costs are shown at checkout and in our shipping policy.
- Unused goods can be returned within 30 days of delivery; anything that arrives broken or wrong is replaced or refunded, your choice. The details are in our refund policy.
- Your data is handled as described in our privacy policy; the rules of the road are in our terms of service.
